HOMEWORK UNIT 01 – PART A

1 – Can you close the store now? I’m tired.

2 – Sorry, but I promise to stay here while Thomas is at the market.

3 – Just make sure to turn off the lights when you leave.

4 – I stay in my bedroom, in silence.

5 – But doesn’t anybody go in there?

6 – Apparently she’s sleeping.

7 – The curtains of her bedroom are drawn and the door is closed.

8 – I’m going to clean the garage this afternoon.

9 – Did you make sure the door is closed?

10 – Because I know you’re forgetful.

11 – Hi, Jude. Come in. No, thanks. I need to go back to work.

12 – Once in a while I can’t sleep because of the noise here.

13 – We’re going to be silent at night.

14 – We need to buy a doorbell.

15 – I know. Sometimes we don’t hear when people knock on the door.

16 – But my salary isn’t going to be very good this month.

17 – And we need new curtains too.

18 – Can I go into your bedroom to get a towel?

19 – Of course, just enter in silence.

20 – And please, don’t turn on the lights
