Neurovascular Observations observe ?	CWMS & PP Color Warmth Movement Sensation Pulses & Pain
Color	What color are the extremities? White, pink, blue etc.
Warmth	How do they feel, cold, warm, hot
Movement	Can the patient move the toes or fingers?
Sensation	Is the sensation on the fingers or toes the same as on the uninjured side?
Pulses	Adequacy of blood flow to extremities is measured.
Pulses points include?	Radial Dorsalis pedis Posterior/ anterior tibial
Pain	Pain assessment of the area being assessed
Capillary refill measures?	The amount of time it takes for capillaries to refill after occlusion Normal capillary refill occurs within 3 seconds.
Normal Movement requires the following	Intact musculoskeletal system Intact nervous system Intact inner ear structures Coordinated muscle activity Neurologic integration
