| do not do sujood (prostrate) | لَا يَسْجُدُونَ Laa Yasjudoon |
| is recited | قُرِئَ quri'ah |
| disbelieved | كَفَرُوا۟ kafaroo |
| they deny | يُكَذِّبُونَ yukaddhiboon |
| And Allah | وَٱللَّهُ Wallahu |
| (is) most knowing | أَعْلَمُ a’lamu |
| they keep within themselves | يُوعُونَ yu'oon |
| So give them news | فَبَشِّرْهُم Fa basshirhum |
| of a painful punishment | بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ bi 'adhaabin aleem |
| Except for those | إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ Illal ladheena |
| and those who did good deeds | وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ wa ‘amilus saalihaati |
| for them is reward | لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ lahum ajrun |
| never ending | غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۭ ghairu mamnoon |
