| What is special revelation? | It is when God is believed to have spoken directly to an individual or select group of people (direct & personal). |
| What is general revelation? | It is when God becomes known through ordinary, common, human experiences or natural means (indirect & impersonal). |

| 3 Types of GR | Holy books, nature & prayer/worship. |
| Negatives of SR: | Only available for select people, may never happen again & may not help everyone, just the individual. |
| Negatives of GR: | Can be questioned wether it's God, only discloses part of God's message & can be interpreted differently. |
| Positives of SR: | Has an immediate/stronger impact, sends God's message directly & those affected don't doubt. |
| Positives of GR: | Available to anyone, continuous & can help anyone. |
