5. Despite the relative stability in the Weimar politics both the Nazis and communists were building up party organisations. Another serious issue for this republic was that around 30 per cent of the vote went to parties opposed to the republic the main threat being right wing parties who had became more threatening due to there collaboration with the nationalist party.
