To summarize - According to a 2001 study by Dimitri van der Linden, not all mistakes or errors are considered negative. There are certain circumstances where an error can actually yield a positive result. Errors are almost always bound to happen when somebody is working with your product, but the degree of the error that occurs is different depending on the error itself. A good error can be a client looking for one thing and discovering another option they didn't know about. A neutral error can be a client choosing a menu option that is not available. A bad error could be a client renaming a file but deleting it instead. Each error is considerable worse than the other, but are all errors respectively.
