Method - Colorimetry finds conc.s of coloured substances in solution.Colorimeter consists of light source, coloured filter, light detector + recorder.Colour filter chosen in complementary colour to solution for max absorbance.Light passes through filter, then coloured solution. Diff in absorbance between coloured solution and water is noted as an "absorbance value".hj
